This shrine to the leader of the Baha’i faith is a beautifully landscaped garden comprised of nineteen terraces covering the slope of Mount Carmel, overlooking the city of Haifa and the Mediterranean Sea. The terraces represent the first eighteen disciples of the Bab and the geometry of the complex is built around the axis, connecting it with the Shrine of Baha’u’llah which is located in Acre and made it the holiest city for Baha’is. Whether travelling on a private tour in Israel or a family trip to Israel, the panoramic view of the Bahai Gardens will be an unforgettable stop on your trip!
The main entrance gives access to the golden-domed Shrine of the Báb and the extensive gardens on the same level.
Visiting hours: 9:00 – 17:00 daily.
The shrine and the inner gardens can only be visited from 9:00 to 12:00 noon. After 12:00 noon you may prefer to visit the Yefe Nof Balcony (location 2) with its panoramic views of the gardens.
