Wonderful 2 weeks in Israel We are wrapping a wonderful two week visit to Israel with a 1 day side trip to Petra Jordan. I have always wanted to go and my husband suggested it as a way for us to celebrate our 30th anniversary. From the very beginning of our contact, LeeAnn listened carefully to what was important to us for this trip and planned a perfect itinerary. From our arrival in Israel, throughout our trip everything went seamlessly. and she stayed in touch throughout our journey. Our tour guide, Yonatan was terrific. We have traveled to many places and have had guides in several of them and we count him as the best of the best. His personal knowledge of the country combined with his shared insights from his own travels really added a dimension to how we experienced each site. He was thoughtful, interesting, funny and considerate. I highly recommend Dekel for travel in Israel and also Yonatan as a guide. I am already thinking about when we can return.

Sensational, tour group If you plan to take a trip to Israel then this is the company is for you. Dekel tours is exceptional in every way.They are so professional, helpful,and just all around wonderful .I had knee replacement surgery & it was hard for me to walk. So David came up with a wonderful idea . He texted me & said how about renting a scooter . It was the BEST idea , after that I was able to join in most of the activities.When I come back to Israel and looking for a tour Dekel Tours is who I’m using . I will recommend them to all my friends who plan on going to Israel.

Trip of a lifetime - Thank You Dekel We had a fantastic experience with Dekel on our Israeli vacation. From the moment we got off the plane we were treated like VIP's. Our primary contact, Mark Coleman from Dekel, worked closely with us to ensure that our itinerary matched what we were hoping to do and showed off the best of both Israel and Jordan in the time that we had. What we appreciated was that, the trip was planned in such a way that we got to do so much, experience new places and still didn't feel frantic or over-scheduled. Given this was our first family trip to the mid-east we were uncertain as to process and documentation for crossing the border between Israel and Jordan, but Dekel took care of every and made it seamless for us. We also has amazing tour guides who were a great blend of informative, entertaining, flexible and engaging. We learned so much and left feeling like we had made a new friend. Fabulous personalized tour We planned an itinerary with Dekel tours who tailored a bucket list of places with our site requests. Our guide was fantastic-well versed in history, archeology and natural wonders and very attentive to our needs. We saw and learned so much about different cultures, religions and history. Israel at its best compliments of Dekel Tours! Without a doubt, this will rank #2 of all time for our (my wife and I) vacation travels. Our honeymoon has to always remain #1. Dekel provided excellent service from assisting with the development of our design of what we could see in the time we were in Israel to literally the moment we got off our plane where we were met with someone who effortlessly guided us through customs, to when we said goodbye to our outstanding guide, Yehuda. Everything that we wanted to see we were able to have quality time doing it. We even had a few last minute changes we requested and they were fulfilled without any complications. Our guide was the best we have had, including professional guides in Egypt, Thailand, Greece, Italy to name just a few. I highly recommend considering Dekel for anyone traveling to Israel.

Exploring Israel with Dekel Tours We recently visited Israel after a tour through Egypt and Jordan. The tour company for the first part of our journey did not offer itineraries in Israel but the owner of the firm recommended we use Dekel Tours in Tel Aviv. We had such a good experience with the Egypt/Jordan agency that we researched Dekel and decided to explore an eight- day visit to Isreal with them. We were not disappointed.Our initial contact was Mark Coleman and he promptly responded to an email by setting up a phone interview to develop a tour plan based on our interests. We have strong interests in history, archeology, geography, art, food and culture—Mark responded to our extensive list of sites with a customized itinerary that made the best use of our eight days. He also met us at the airport and provided water bottles, background information and hats.The accommodations that we chose from a list Dekel provided in Jerusalem, Tiberias and Tel Aviv were all excellent, offering large breakfasts and very convenient to the sites that we explored. Mark also set us up at the King David Hotel for a few nights where one of our sets of great grandparents had stayed in the 1930’s. It was a wonderful experience.Our guide was central to the high quality of the adventure that we had in Israel. Ran Tzabar holds a degree in history/archeology as well as an MA in tour industry management. He was everything we expect of a top guide—friendly, attentive, always on time and steeped in the history of the areas that we visited. From Jerusalem to Masada, Ein Gedi and Qumran to Bethlehem, Jericho, Tiberius, Capernaum, Nazareth, Megiddo and Caesarea, Ran provided great insight and background to the sites we were exploring. A case in point, when we were touring Old Town Jerusalem Ran checked with a security guard, he knew at the Temple Mount and learned that it would be open for one hour for tourists to visit. He arranged to have us at the entrance later that day at the right time and we got to enjoy an experience that probably would not have been possible otherwise.If you’re looking for a well- organized tour, great individualized guide and tour coordinator, fine accommodations and food—all in a part of the world with amazing histories—Dekel Tours deserves a close look.

Israel 2022 with DEKEL Tours My sister and I took a trip to Israel that was postponed for two years due to oCOVID. A friend recommended DEKEL, specifically LeeAnn Langer. I e-mailed LeeAnn and she quickly replied. I was on the phone with her within a few days and she took her time asking me questions about what my sister and I wanted to do. She planned a private tour for 3 weeks for my sister and I which included an overnight in Petra. We were given a choice of hotels to choose from and we were able to make changes to the itinerary before we got there. LeeAnn set us up with the greatest guide. LeeAnn listened to what we wanted and the trip was outstanding. Her team was always available if we had questions. Everything was taken care of. Transport to everywhere, VIP treatment arriving and leaving at the airport, great hotels, reservations taken care of, and just being spoiled with the attention to detail. And when I mentioned wine tasting, we went to 5 wineries. Most important is the guide they got us, Shira Victor. Shira is the best. Three weeks was not enough time. For the next trip to Israel, I will be contacting DEKEL to help arrange the trip.
