Spectacular Visit to Israel We had an absolutely wonderful 12 days in Israel, thanks in huge part to Dekel Tours and our phenomenal guide Sharon Pelleg. Tamar at Dekel helped us plan a terrific trip that met all of our needs and wants. Leading up to the trip, Tamar had heard some feedback from other clients about the lack of customer service in one of the hotels we were scheduled to stay in. Based on this, she worked to find us another place to stay that would meet our budget and our needs. During the trip, Tamar was in regular communication with Sharon to make any necessary adjustments in our itinerary due to traffic or unforeseen changes. From our point of view, all arrangements functioned like a well-oiled machine but really I know that Tamar and Sharon were the ones that were communicating with vendors to make sure all was perfect! Our favorite activities were enjoying lunch cooked by and talking to with a Druze family in Golan Heights, hiking and enjoying the waterfalls of Ein Gedi and especially, hiking up to Masada at sunrise. And now on to Sharon, our spectacular guide. Sharon was with our family for over half of our trip (the rest of the time we toured on our own). Sharon was energetic, creative, insightful, patient, honest, and so much more than we could have hoped for. She worked to adapt her history lessons to our teenagers' interest levels, listened to our teenage son when he wanted to talk with someone about video games, brought us to "off the beaten path" sites, started conversations with a variety of Israelis that we came across so that we could meet individuals from so many different walks of life, shared her own views with us about life as an Israeli woman, and listened to our views as Jewish Americans. By the end of our trip, our teenage children were referring to our guide as "Aunt Sharon". Sharon will very much be a part of our most special memories of a spectacular trip to Israel. We truly cannot recommend enough both Dekel AND especially Sharon Pelleg.

Thank you Dekel I just came back from a month in Haifa, Israel, and Dekel helped tremendously with transport to and from the airport, and with providing a tour guide for a day away from the planned program. David Cherney was a great guide and I highly recommend both Dekel and David.

It could not have been better My husband & I just returned from 2 weeks in Israel. We worked with David Gross of Dekel Tours to arrange our hotel, transfers from & to the airport, and assistance through Passport Control, Security & Check-in. His suggestions were perfect for what we wanted. Each hotel was lovely—well maintained, spotlessly clean, well-appointed & well-located. At David’s suggestion we used of the service of Smile when we arrived in Ben Gurion Airport in Tel Aviv. It made getting through all the checkpoints speedy. We were able to circumvent long lines. The drivers were helpful & pleasant & their vehicles were clean. The use of VIP service on our departure was brilliant! Since the days before security checks, we have never had such rapid check-in. The representative from VIP was able to take us from curbside all the way through to our gate, bypassing long lines.

Outstanding Tour Service My wife and I recently returned from a 17-day vacation in Israel and Jordan. We used Dekel to arrange private tours and other services for a portion of our trip including a 4-day, 3-night private tour of the northern district, a day tour of the Old City in Jerusalem, and a 3-day, 2-night tour in Jordan. Dekel also arranged transportation from/to the airport and provided "helpers" for the Israel/Jordan border crossing. I researched and booked the Israel accommodations myself and Dekel handled reservations for our two nights in Jordan.

Our experience with Dekel and our agent, Mark Coleman, was outstanding: Each of our three guides were very knowledgeable, entertaining, and a pleasure to spend time with. The itinerary was great. The extra services (especially the border crossing assistance) were a big help

In addition, Dekel/Mark were very flexible and accommodating, especially given the volatile COVID-19 situation. Planning the vacation felt like a true partnership, which I really appreciated.

Excellent 2 weeks We were involved in a trip to Israel and Jordan for my granddaughter's bot mitzvah in Jerusalem that Dekel Tours arranged. We were a group of 18 that consisted of 6 to 80 years olds. We did everything from bike riding to wine tasting, to an archaeological dig plus so much more. All ages thoroughly enjoyed the trip and were included in the festivities. It was seamless, the hotels were perfect, bus driver and guides were excellent. You can't go wrong!

Just finished a 12 day tour we planned with Dekel Tours for my son’s bar mitzvah. I can sum up the entire experience in one word OUTSTANDING. I highly recommend them. I am a real person and I do not work for Dekel Tours. My wife and I are very hard to please and they exceeded our expectations. We do not live in Israel so planning a tour of this nature is vey stressful and you really don’t know whether you can trust the company you are working with. Our experience was very positive and David and Tamar were attentive and extremely helpful. Tamar went so far as to come to the bar mitzvah and lent us her hotspot because the synagogue did not have wifi and we needed to broadcast the service over zoom. Thank you for everything.

Highly recommend Dekel Tours We recently booked a trip to Israel through Dekel Tours. It was the first time to visit Israel for all of us, including our kids ages 8 and 12. From an initial phone call, David from Dekel helped create an itinerary that was varied and unique (favorite experiences included sand boarding in the South, a grafitti workshop in Tel Aviv, the Fauda experience outside Jerusalem and Dig for a Day. Our guide Amir Katz was fantastic, I can't wait to go back to check out his wine tours. While we didn't really need concierge services once we were on the trip, the few questions we had were addressed quickly. Highly recommend the VIP airport experience, especially helpful for our early departure. David has even gone above and beyond in mailing us something we accidentally left at the airport in our dozy state. We will use Dekel again when we return to Israel.

Incredible Israel experience Wow. it is hard to find the words to describe our trip to Israel, and the role that Dekel played. I had spent two months in Israel in 1994 on the High School in Israel program, and it was life changing for me. I wanted to share Israel with my children (aged 6 and 12), and contacted Dekel to help us. Marc was amazing. We spoke at length, and based of our conversations, he put together an itinerary that was the perfect balance of fun, educational, adventurous, and meaningful. The hotels were great, the airport service was extraordinary, and our guide, Muriel Sassoon was incomparable. I highly recommend Dekel. They are the best.
