DAY 1
Arrival: Jerusalem

Arrival at Ben Gurion Airport – Your group will be met by a representative and assisted with the arrival formalities.

Transfer to your hotel

Jerusalem Neighborhood Walk – Feel the city transition from the busy work week to the quiet of Shabbat.

Kabbalat Shabbat – Enjoy a very special Kabbalat Shabbat with your group.

Shabbat dinner together at the hotel.

DAY 2
Shabbat in Jerusalem

Enjoy breakfast at the hotel.

Day at Leisure – Enjoy a day of quiet relaxation or participate in an optional walking tour. 

Walking tour of Jerusalem (optional) – Though much of the city closes down for Shabbat, there’s still plenty to see on a walking tour. 

Lunch on your own.

Community Havdalah – Join together for a special Havdalah as your group marks the end of Shabbat.

Dinner on your own.

Sound and Light Show at the Tower of David – Utilizing the walls of the citadel, this fabulous audio-visual spectacle recreates the history of Jerusalem using virtual reality images.

DAY 3
The Old City

Enjoy breakfast at the hotel.

City of David – Journey back to ancient Jerusalem and explore the intricate system of tunnels built to protect the Gihon Spring.

Davidson Center – Imagine what it might have felt like to walk through the ancient walled city of Jerusalem before its destruction.

Lunch on your own.

The Western Wall (Kotel) – The holiest site in the world for the Jewish people, this section of wall is the sole remnant of the Second Temple.

Jewish Quarter – A walking exploration of the rich history and culture of the Jewish people in Jerusalem.

Dinner on your own.

Overnight: Jerusalem.

DAY 4
Jerusalem & Region

Enjoy breakfast at the hotel.

Yad Vashem Holocaust Museum Learn about and pay tribute to the victims, Jewish resistance to the Nazis, and non-Jews who aided victims.

Mount Herzl – The site of Israel’s national cemetery and memorial to some of Israel’s pre-eminent military and political heroes. 

Lunch en route, on your own.

Neve Shalom/Wahat al-Salam – An intentional Jewish-Palestinian community dedicated to peace through co-existence.

Overnight: Jerusalem

DAY 5
Judean Desert

Enjoy breakfast at the hotel.

Camel Excursion – A desert adventure, on four knobby-kneed legs. Don’t forget your camera.

Masada – Discover the story of heroism and martyrdom during the Roman siege on this mountain fortress.

Lunch and Float in the Dead Sea – Experience the once-in-a-lifetime thrill of weightlessness as you float in the mineral-rich water at the lowest spot on earth.

Afternoon at leisure – Time to rest or explore on your own.

Dinner on your own.

Overnight: Jerusalem

DAY 6
Jordan Valley

Enjoy breakfast at the hotel and check out.

Kibbutz Sde Eliyahu – Visit this unique religious kibbutz that is dedicated to organic farming and natural, religious living.

Lunch at the kibbutz

Beit She’an – Tour the well-preserved ruins of this Roman-era walled city, including a temple, public baths, and more.

Hamat Gader – This national park contains springs that have been a destination for travelers in search of healing since at least the Roman period.

Buffet dinner at the hotel is included.

DAY 7
Golan Heights

Enjoy breakfast at the hotel.

Geo-Political Jeep Tour – Experience the Golan Heights on an amazing Jeep tour guided by an expert in the geopolitics of Israel and its northern borders.

Majd-al-Shams – Experience the Druze culture and share a traditional meal with a local family.

Lunch is included in Majd-al-Shams

Shofar Factory – Go behind the scenes with Shimon in his shofar workshop as he shares his craft with you.

Tel Saki Challenge – Listen carefully to the heroic tale of October 6-7, 1973, and see if you can crack the code.

DAY 8
Upper Galilee

Enjoy breakfast at the hotel.

Tzfat (Safed) – Wander the narrow cobblestone streets lined with galleries and ancient synagogues, look for treasures, or just steep in the spirituality that abounds in the city of Jewish mysticism.

Lunch en route, on your own.

Winery Visit – Explore one of the amazing wineries in Israel’s Upper Galilee region and learn about the wine-making process, sample a number of the winery’s select wines, and enjoy a fascinating discussion of the local wine industry.

Kabbalat Shabbat – Wrap up an amazing week of touring with a quiet community Kabbalat Shabbat.

DAY 9
Shabbat in the North

Enjoy breakfast at the hotel.

Optional day tour:

Agamon HaHula – A vast nature reserve and bird sanctuary in the Hula Valley with numerous trails for hiking. 

Tel Hazor – This UNESCO world heritage site contains well-preserved archaeological remains from the Canaanite and Israelite periods.

Rosh Pina – One of modern Israel’s oldest towns, full of charm and incredible views.

Community Havdalah – Join together for another special Havdalah.

DAY 10
Coastal Plain

Enjoy breakfast at the hotel and check out.

Rosh HaNikra – Experience the unparalleled natural beauty of the cliffs and sea grottoes at Israel’s northwest corner.

Zichron Yaakov – This picturesque town on Mount Carmel is noted for its heritage homes, lovely views, and numerous historical landmarks.

Caesarea National Park – Home to ancient palaces built for King Herod, a Roman amphitheater, historic port, and other Roman archaeological wonders, such as the Promontory Palace with the remains of its mosaic floor.

Overnight: Tel Aviv

DAY 11
Tel Aviv – Jaffa

Enjoy breakfast at the hotel.

Peres Center for Peace and Innovation – Set off on a multi-sensory journey through Israel’s history as an innovation center.

Independence Hall – A moving museum where you’ll be transported back to the day Israel officially became the Jewish State.

Lunch on your own

ANU Museum of the Jewish People – Witness the story of the Jewish people told through fascinating multi-disciplinary and interactive exhibits.

Templer Colony at Sarona Market – Explore the history preserved within this modern commercial compound built by German Templers.

Farewell Dinner included.

Overnight: Tel Aviv

DAY 12
Departure

Enjoy breakfast at the hotel and check out.

Morning at Leisure Spend your last day in Israel relaxing on the beach, enjoying the hotel facilities, or looking for souvenirs.

Transfer to Ben Gurion Airport – Your driver will meet you just outside the lobby of your hotel and transport you to Ben Gurion Airport for your departure flight.
