(UMI), Dan Lease-A-Car 1988 (Trade-In) Ltd., UMI Insurance Agency (1994) Ltd., Universal Finance Solutions Ltd., Office 3000 Ltd., Universal Import UMI Ltd., and other affiliated companies from time to time (‘We’, ‘Our’, or ‘UMI Group’) values your privacy and wishes to let you know how it handles and processes personal data when using this website.
This Privacy Notice is an integral part of our Terms of Use and governs the collection, processing, use, and transfer of personal data by us while visiting our website at www.dekeltours.com (the “Website”, “you” or “End User”, respectively).
Who are we and what we do?
UMI Group is the provider of ‘Dekel Tours’, customized travel-planning and tour operation services in Israel for inbound travelers, delivered by English-speaking specialists with regional expertise.
Scope
UMI Group is the operator of the Website and the Data Controller of the Personal Data processed and collected using it. The Website itself is mostly informative and only allows to set up a meeting with our agents but doesn’t allow placing the reservations themselves.
This Privacy Notice only covers and relates to the Personal Data collected and processed using the Website.

This Notice is a legally binding agreement between you and UMI Group. If you are entering into this agreement on behalf of a business or other legal entity, you represent that you have the authority to bind such entity to this agreement.

The Website is not directed to individuals under 18. UMI Group does not knowingly collect or process personal data from individuals under the age of 18 via the Website, and we do not assume or have control over the content uploaded by You. What kind of personal data we collect?
When visiting our website, we may collect the following data:
- Contact us/request for a consultation call: Your request type and details, preferred time for a call, your contact details (inc. email address, full name), and other optional details regarding your desired trip – such as travelers age group, trip planning interests, desired hotel price range, etc.
- Usage & log data: system events (e.g., account creation, log-ins, requests), IP address, device/OS, geographic region, feature actions, error reports, and cookie data (see “Cookies” below).
You do not have to provide any of the above-mentioned personal data, and you have no legal obligation to do so. That being said, without it, we will not be able to provide features and services the Website provides, in part or in full.

WE DO NOT SELL or lease your personal data to third parties for their marketing purposes, nor we have done so in the past 12 months. We may share personal data within UMI Group companies and affiliates, and with 3rd parties as follows (a) service providers (b) Our advisors (c) Regulators and law enforcement, as required by law (d) under company restructuring.

Due to Restructuring

In addition, information that we store is maintained and archived on secure, hardened servers that are hosted on industry standard secured data centers. Access to this information is protected by multiple layers of controls, including firewalls, role-based access controls, authentication mechanisms and monitoring. The information is backed up, and archives are stored in a secure location. UMI Group is taking reasonable action to keep your information safe. Nevertheless, UMI Group is not responsible for any damages to the information, or to the functionality of the Website, caused by reasons beyond its control, force majeure, cyber-attacks, pandemics, strikes, etc.

Please specify “Privacy Request” in the subject and fill in the specific right to be fulfilled (for example, “Data subject Deletion Request” for deletion requests). Within the e-mail, specify your request and mention your account email address used for log-in to the account.
Please note, If you are operating on behalf of our business client, it is advised to direct your request to them. If not, we may forward your request to the relevant business client for their review and instructions.
Response Timeline. We will do our best to respond to any inquiry within a reasonable timeframe, and in any case no longer than 30 days.
Appeal. If we deny your request, you may appeal by emailing privacy@UMI.co.il with “Appeal” in the subject line; we will respond to your appeal within 60 days.

We may need to verify your identity before processing your request; When you make a request, we will first have to verify your identity, and only once we have verified and authenticated your identity, we will continue fulfilling your rights. Hence, When a request is made, we may ask for further information to authenticate your identity. Please note that we may decline any unverified request.
