Awesome, out of this World I worked with Dekel Tours (Mark) for several months on the itinerary and it was packed with places we needed to see and things we need to do. Mark worked with me on several revisions. In the end, we finalized the itinerary and when on the trip. All I have to say is that the service we got from Dekel Tours was absolutely Presidental!! From getting off the Airplane in Israel, to the hotel, touring, and getting me back home, they took care of everything. I felt like a new born baby. No worries at all, just enjoy the sights, sounds and walk in the footsteps of Jesus. Thank you Dekel Tours, you are the best. Lastly, Dekel gave us the best tour guides, especially Micheal, he was so knowledgeable about the places we visited and gave us some extra places to see that were not part of the itinerary. Superior communication and implementation of the perfect itinerary! I work at a Jewish day school, so when it came time to plan a Bnot Mitzvah trip to Israel, there was no shortage of tour company recommendations. However, David Gross of Dekel Tours immediately stood out from the rest. To begin, I appreciated seamless communication with a native English speaker. In addition, as they say, presentation is everything. The proposed itinerary from Dekel tours was beautifully crafted with color images and easy to read text blocks. The other proposals I received looked like résumés, or a document you might use to take notes. The itinerary was 100% personalized to our family. From the hotels to the activities, every one of our interests and needs were considered. This was no easy feat with a group ranging in age from 12-78. We also had a particular tour guide in mind, (Sharon Pelleg), and Dekel tours was able to secure the tour guide of our choice. For the Bnot mitzvah, (2 daughters ages 12 and 15), we were given phenomenal recommendations for clergy, location and photography. Once the planning was complete, and we arrived in Israel, the superior service continued with immediate communication whenever needed. For example, we unexpectedly required a scooter for a family member who experienced limited mobility. A scooter was delivered to the hotel and our transportation was modified to accommodate. Also, a different family member needed a chiropractor, David was able to schedule and arrange travel to and from an appointment. I know this is quite the gushing review, but it is well deserved. Superior communication and implementation of an itinerary that provided the trip we dreamed of, earned this review.

A completely custom and perfect experience My husband and I (along with our 8-month old baby) just spent two weeks in Israel and a couple days in Jordan visiting Petra and had an absolutely incredible trip. We used Dekel tours for our airport transfers, all of our accommodations, a tour guide in Jerusalem, VIP border crossing into Jordan and back and all accommodations and tours in Jordan.The experience with Dekel tour was completely custom for us (which is often not the case when using similar services) as well as seamless and incredible.Every detail was carefully curated based on our parameters and we could not have been happier.I highly recommend using Dekel Tours whether you just need help with a few small details - or in planning every detail of your trip!

Trip of a lifetime - Thank You Dekel We had a fantastic experience with Dekel on our Israeli vacation. From the moment we got off the plane we were treated like VIP's. Our primary contact, Mark Coleman from Dekel, worked closely with us to ensure that our itinerary matched what we were hoping to do and showed off the best of both Israel and Jordan in the time that we had. What we appreciated was that, the trip was planned in such a way that we got to do so much, experience new places and still didn't feel frantic or over-scheduled. Given this was our first family trip to the mid-east we were uncertain as to process and documentation for crossing the border between Israel and Jordan, but Dekel took care of every and made it seamless for us. We also has amazing tour guides who were a great blend of informative, entertaining, flexible and engaging. We learned so much and left feeling like we had made a new friend. Exploring Israel with Dekel Tours We recently visited Israel after a tour through Egypt and Jordan. The tour company for the first part of our journey did not offer itineraries in Israel but the owner of the firm recommended we use Dekel Tours in Tel Aviv. We had such a good experience with the Egypt/Jordan agency that we researched Dekel and decided to explore an eight- day visit to Isreal with them. We were not disappointed.Our initial contact was Mark Coleman and he promptly responded to an email by setting up a phone interview to develop a tour plan based on our interests. We have strong interests in history, archeology, geography, art, food and culture—Mark responded to our extensive list of sites with a customized itinerary that made the best use of our eight days. He also met us at the airport and provided water bottles, background information and hats.The accommodations that we chose from a list Dekel provided in Jerusalem, Tiberias and Tel Aviv were all excellent, offering large breakfasts and very convenient to the sites that we explored. Mark also set us up at the King David Hotel for a few nights where one of our sets of great grandparents had stayed in the 1930’s. It was a wonderful experience.Our guide was central to the high quality of the adventure that we had in Israel. Ran Tzabar holds a degree in history/archeology as well as an MA in tour industry management. He was everything we expect of a top guide—friendly, attentive, always on time and steeped in the history of the areas that we visited. From Jerusalem to Masada, Ein Gedi and Qumran to Bethlehem, Jericho, Tiberius, Capernaum, Nazareth, Megiddo and Caesarea, Ran provided great insight and background to the sites we were exploring. A case in point, when we were touring Old Town Jerusalem Ran checked with a security guard, he knew at the Temple Mount and learned that it would be open for one hour for tourists to visit. He arranged to have us at the entrance later that day at the right time and we got to enjoy an experience that probably would not have been possible otherwise.If you’re looking for a well- organized tour, great individualized guide and tour coordinator, fine accommodations and food—all in a part of the world with amazing histories—Dekel Tours deserves a close look.

She reached out to youth and adults, meaningfully engaging the kids. Sharon went beyond the norm in seeking to meet the needs and respond to the interests of all. The guide at Yad Vashem (Lara….) was a wonderful educator who held the kids attention for over two hours. Our driver, Sergei, kept us safe and on time. The VIP access for the airport to the hotel and back was excellent. All contacts and connections made for a smooth and enjoyable experience. We have already given your name to a few people interested in traveling to Israel.

Excellent service and experience David and the team at Dekel Tours created a personalized itinerary based on our family's interests and background with some great unique experiences that we will remember forever.He was communicative, responsive, and held numerous phone calls at convenient times for us in America to build and revise our 10 day trip.All of the greeters, drivers, and tour guides were excellent and the convenience of having them handle everything from airport customs, rides, hotel reservations and always-available WhatsApp conversations made for a much easier trip.I would recommend using Dekel for your Israel trip without hesitation.
