David organized an unbelievable family tour for 6 of us to spend 7 days in Jerusalem and Tel Aviv. We are a family of 6 (age ranging from 16 to 55.) Our tour guide for the majority of the trip was Beni, and he too was fantastic. We were lead on an unforgettable journey that included scaling Masada, floating in the Dead sea, visiting the 4 ancient quarters of Jerusalem, digging in a cave, touring the Holocaust Museum, biking through Tel Aviv, eating hummus and falafel in the Carmel Market,

Magical Trip Every detail of our trip was a joy - from the professional staff in the office to our fantastic guide. Mark listened to our goals and put together an itinerary that was engaging for first-timers and return-travelers. We were a congregational trip with people from 12 years old to 80, a mix of people who are Jewish and not, from several different states, and we came home connected to each other forever! As the person who staffed the trip, I was especially happy about the customer service and attention to detail we received from the Dekel staff.

A completely custom and perfect experience My husband and I (along with our 8-month old baby) just spent two weeks in Israel and a couple days in Jordan visiting Petra and had an absolutely incredible trip. We used Dekel tours for our airport transfers, all of our accommodations, a tour guide in Jerusalem, VIP border crossing into Jordan and back and all accommodations and tours in Jordan.The experience with Dekel tour was completely custom for us (which is often not the case when using similar services) as well as seamless and incredible.Every detail was carefully curated based on our parameters and we could not have been happier.I highly recommend using Dekel Tours whether you just need help with a few small details - or in planning every detail of your trip!

Outstanding Customer Service! We hired a wonderful guide (David Wexler) in Israel who collaborates with Dekel Tours. Dekel provided our final itinerary and pricing and arranged hotels and transfers to and from the airport. Our week couldn't have gone more smoothly. I mainly corresponded with LeeAnn at Dekel and I truly can't think of anyone I've worked with in all our travels over the years who has been more responsive than she was. Exploring Israel with Dekel Tours We recently visited Israel after a tour through Egypt and Jordan. The tour company for the first part of our journey did not offer itineraries in Israel but the owner of the firm recommended we use Dekel Tours in Tel Aviv. We had such a good experience with the Egypt/Jordan agency that we researched Dekel and decided to explore an eight- day visit to Isreal with them. We were not disappointed.Our initial contact was Mark Coleman and he promptly responded to an email by setting up a phone interview to develop a tour plan based on our interests. We have strong interests in history, archeology, geography, art, food and culture—Mark responded to our extensive list of sites with a customized itinerary that made the best use of our eight days. He also met us at the airport and provided water bottles, background information and hats.The accommodations that we chose from a list Dekel provided in Jerusalem, Tiberias and Tel Aviv were all excellent, offering large breakfasts and very convenient to the sites that we explored. Mark also set us up at the King David Hotel for a few nights where one of our sets of great grandparents had stayed in the 1930’s. It was a wonderful experience.Our guide was central to the high quality of the adventure that we had in Israel. Ran Tzabar holds a degree in history/archeology as well as an MA in tour industry management. He was everything we expect of a top guide—friendly, attentive, always on time and steeped in the history of the areas that we visited. From Jerusalem to Masada, Ein Gedi and Qumran to Bethlehem, Jericho, Tiberius, Capernaum, Nazareth, Megiddo and Caesarea, Ran provided great insight and background to the sites we were exploring. A case in point, when we were touring Old Town Jerusalem Ran checked with a security guard, he knew at the Temple Mount and learned that it would be open for one hour for tourists to visit. He arranged to have us at the entrance later that day at the right time and we got to enjoy an experience that probably would not have been possible otherwise.If you’re looking for a well- organized tour, great individualized guide and tour coordinator, fine accommodations and food—all in a part of the world with amazing histories—Dekel Tours deserves a close look.

Custom tailored itinerary and personalized experience My wife and I took two of our granddaughters (ages 13 abd 14) on a tour of Israel and Jordan for their Bat Mitzvahs. We had a very narrow window of dates when we could make this trip and LeeAnn at Dekel worked out a fabulous tour based on our timeframe. We shared with her our initial ideas of what we would like to do and she took it from there adding many activities geared to our two teens. It was a busy 10 days but not hectic or rushed. Each of our guides was extraordinary. They were experienced, knowledgeable and engaging.

Two highlights stand out for me:

1) Our day in Jordan to tour Petra and our overnight at the Bedouin camp in the Jordanian desert were nothing short of spectacular. Highly recommended!

2) Our three days in Jerusalem were filled with ancient history and contemporary Jewish life. Our guide Abby made it both exciting and meaningful. No place like it on earth.

All four of us are so very grateful to LeeAnn, Brad and the entire Dekel team for giving us such a memorable visit to Israel to share with our grandkids.

Best trip ever Thank you David, Bradley Asher Drimmer. We went for our Daughter's Bat Mitzvah and toured for 2 full weeks. Everything was perfect and it was truly the best trip of our lives. We can't wait to go back.

Private Tour with DEKEL tours Just came back from a 13 day trip to Israel. Mark at DEKEL Tours helped us plan a 7 day private tour. Dekel Tours is the best We had the most WONDERFUL Bar Mitzvah family tour arranged by David and Dekel Tours. David is communicative, responsive, really listened and worked with us to create the perfect itinerary. The accommodations that he arranged for us exceeded our expectations. He contracted the ideal driver, tour guide and photographer. David and his colleague Mark arranged the perfect location at the Kotel for the Bar Mitzvah ceremony. Amazing Israel adventure! Dekel Tours handled everything from planning our personalized trip to everything while in Israel. We planned a trip with all the traditional sightseeing but also included teen adventures which included: jeep tours, rappelling, Jordan River rafting, graffiti tour and shuk experience. Our tour guide and bus driver were accommodating, incredibly knowledgeable and really wonderful to travel with. I highly recommend Dekel Tours when planning your next Israel trip.
