Eilat’s aquarium is the biggest in Israel. It is home to hundreds of brightly colored rare fish, sharks, sea horses, and sea turtles. There are numerous pools in the underwater observatory which you can visit to watch the animals being fed or just to swim around. The aquarium has a rehabilitation center with ongoing projects to support endangered species and encourage reproduction. Another highlight is the coral reef – one of the most beautiful in the world! In the Underwater Observatory Park you can also find a tourist information center, stores, cafes, a restaurant, and an amusement park. Make sure you go up to the top of the coffee tower to see the amazing views from up high.
A visit to The Underwater Observatory is a great opportunity for the whole family to learn all about the unique flora and fauna of the Red Sea. Ask us how to include a visit on your next family trip to Israel.
